Riyadh Cement welcomed a delegation from Al-Quwayiyah Technical College as part of its efforts to strengthen engagement with educational institutions and provide a comprehensive practical overview of the cement industry and its associated operational and engineering systems. The visit aimed to offer trainees an expanded field experience, enabling them to understand the industry from within the worksite and gain insight into daily operational practices.
The program began with an introductory session presenting the company’s establishment, geographical significance, industrial development, and operational activities. This was followed by a specialized video presentation offering a clear visual overview of production lines, manufacturing stages, and quality control mechanisms that form a core component of the company’s operating model.
The Safety Team also delivered a presentation focusing on safety culture within industrial facilities, approved risk management procedures, and the methodologies applied by Riyadh Cement to ensure a safe working environment in accordance with national and international standards. This segment provided trainees with a practical understanding of safety programs in heavy industries and the importance of compliance as a key factor in operational success.
The visit included a field tour of the plant facilities, during which the delegation visited several operational areas to observe production technologies, daily activities of operations and maintenance teams, as well as control stations and monitoring systems.
