Riyadh Cement’s pavilion witnessed strong visitor engagement on the first day of its participation in Cityscape – Milham, where the company showcased its experience in utilizing iron slag and transforming it into sustainable industrial resources.
This participation, held in collaboration with the National Center for Waste Management (Mawan), reflects the joint efforts in supporting sustainability and circular-economy initiatives.
The pavilion welcomed the Deputy President for Planning and Development at Mawan, who reviewed the iron-slag experience and emphasized the importance of presenting such impactful models that deliver real value in the sustainability domain.
Specialists at the Riyadh Cement pavilion provided a detailed explanation of the mechanisms used to treat iron slag and convert it into usable industrial resources, highlighting the environmental and economic impact of the project.
The pavilion also received His Excellency the Mayor of the Eastern Province, who explored the details of the iron-slag experience and commended the significance of such initiatives in enhancing industrial sustainability.
