As part of its ongoing efforts to promote environmental sustainability and contribute to the goals of the Saudi Green Initiative, Riyadh Cement Company has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Wasm Environmental Association to plant 1,000 Arta trees in the King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve, as part of national projects aimed at rehabilitating vegetation cover and combating desertification.
The signing ceremony took place at Riyadh Cement’s headquarters, in the presence of Eng. Shoeil Al-Ayed, Chief Executive Officer of Riyadh Cement Company, and Mr. Saad Al-Ajmi, Chairman of the Board of Wasm Environmental Association, along with a number of officials from both parties.
This agreement aims to implement an integrated environmental project that contributes to:
• Restoring local vegetation cover.
• Preserving biodiversity within protected areas.
• Supporting national efforts to address climate change.
• Strengthening collaboration between the private sector and non-profit environmental organizations.
On this occasion, Eng. Shoeil Al-Ayed expressed his pride in this partnership, stating:
