Riyadh Cement Plants received a Japanese delegation consisting of members of the Japanese International Cooperation Institute (Jice) and representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources. The visit aimed to learn about the operation mechanisms of factories in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and exchange expertise between the two parties. Additionally, it sought to evaluate the benefit of the company's trainees and the extent of their application of the methodologies taught during the "Road to Toyota" training program, which was launched by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources in collaboration with the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry last year.
The director of Riyadh Cement Plants welcomed the visiting delegation and emphasized that the visit marks an important step towards enhancing cooperation and exchanging knowledge and expertise between the two sides, aiming to develop productive and innovative capacities in the industrial sector.
Next, a documentary film was screened, narrating the history of Riyadh Cement and the stages of establishing the production lines that were inaugurated, providing a background on the production period until it reaches the consumer, passing through various manufacturing steps.
Following that, safety instructions followed within the factory were reviewed, emphasizing their importance in maintaining the safety of workers and visitors.
After the presentation, the delegation was taken on a field tour to closely observe the various operations and equipment used in production within the factory.
At the end of the tour, the delegation expressed a positive impression of the visit, praising the advanced and remarkable technologies they saw that reflect the effort put forth within the company’s plants, expressing their satisfaction with the level of industry and the quality of the Saudi product.
